Application Period

We are accepting Grade 2 – Grade 6 admission applications from March 31, 2023 to May 5, 2023. An admission written test and interview will be arranged for eligible candidates when vacancies become available.

We will announce the list of students who will be invited for the written test through the online application system on May 8 2023.

NOTE: As a through-train Primary to Secondary school, we do not provide internal examinations for the purpose of the Hong Kong Secondary School Places Allocation (SSPA) process.

Admission Procedures

1. Application Method

Arrangement for 2023-24 Grade 2 – Grade 6 Admission

For parents who would like to apply for Grade 2 – Grade 6 places for the academic year 2023-24, please complete the online application form through the link below and submit the required documents simultaneously.

Application Procedures:

*Applicants are required to pay an application fee of HK$50 which is non-refundable regardless of whether a written test/interview/a school place is placed or not.

2. Selection Procedures

The Grade 2 to Grade 6 admission written test includes Chinese, English and Mathematics papers. Each paper which takes approximately 30 to 40 minutes, will be arranged and conducted on the same day. Details of the written test arrangement will be sent with the invitation letter through the online application system on May 8, 2023.

3. Confirmation of Enrollment

The successful applicants will be notified through the online application system in late June. Parents are required to register before the due date to secure the school place.

4. Scholarship / Financial Assistance

Needy students, including those from families receiving Comprehensive Social Security Assistance and those receiving financial assistance provided by the Student Finance Office, could apply and be eligible for school fee remission. Besides, we welcome students who have noteworthy performances in sports, music, performing arts, visual arts, services, leadership or academic excellence to apply for our scholarship. The application forms and details of our Scholarship and Financial Assistance Schemes can be found on our school website (http://www.hkbuas.edu.hk). Hard copies of application forms and related information are also available at our school office. If you would like to apply for your child, please submit the application form and other related documents on the day of registration.

Data Privacy Notice:

1. All private data related to the Admission Process is handled in full compliance of all HK laws, ordinances, and EDB guidelines.
2. All the information submitted in the Application Form and other attachments will be used only for the admissions purposes. All admission data of unsuccessful candidates will be destroyed after the admission process is completed.
3. Documents submitted for the Admission Process will not be returned.
