Founded by former Prime Minister Shigenobu Okuma (大隈重信), Waseda holds a distinguished legacy of political and cultural impact, having educated multiple Japanese Prime Ministers, prominent journalists, world-renowned authors like Haruki Murakami (村上春樹), and global business leaders.
During the visit, our students got a real taste of this academic excellence by attending an engaging mock philosophy lecture delivered by Professor Masumi Nagasaka (School of International Liberal Studies) 📚✨
