We are thrilled to share highlights from our Student Ambassadors representing A-School at the UN China Youth Environment Conference! Hosted at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, our student leaders delivered inspiring public presentations and interactive booth showcases, taking audience members on a journey from the gentle luster of “Soft Light” to the vibrant soaring wings of “Spreading Wings.”
🦪 🦋 From “Soft Light” to “Spreading Wings”
🦪 Soft Light — Pearl S.P.E. Project & Global Industry Standards
Through live oyster dissections, real-life pearl displays, and insights into sustainable aquaculture, our team explored how China’s pearl industry transitions toward sustainable global standards. From understanding marine ecosystems to upcycling materials for jewelry design, students demonstrated how science and life connect.
🦋 Spreading Wings — Campus Butterfly Biodiversity Research
Partnering with universities, our ambassadors conduct weekly surveys of campus butterflies, planting nectar and host plants to enhance local biodiversity and contribute data to Hong Kong’s ecological database.

🎶 Also at the Conference: Opening Performance
Our students also had the honour of opening the 2026 UN China Youth Environment Conference at HKCEC. Members of Treble Choir, Pop Band & Eco-Pioneers performed Hand in Hand as the ceremony’s very first act. 💚 Under the theme “‘Dual Carbon’ Leadership, Green Future,” they shared a message of unity and hope with youth delegates from across China and beyond. Young voices, green future. 🌱✨
Thank you to all teachers, organizers, and guests for supporting our youth as they turn observation into records and care into action! 🌿✨
