Spiritual Nourishment

Spiritual nourishment forms the foundational bedrock of holistic student development, guiding young individuals beyond academic achievement toward moral integrity, self-discovery, and faith. At A-School, the Christianity Development Team works in close partnership with City One Baptist Church (COBC) to cultivate a vibrant, Christ-centered campus culture where Biblical principles permeate daily life. Grounded in 2 Timothy 2:15, the school encourages students to live out this teaching: "Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth." By equipping youth with love, faith, and service, students learn to navigate personal transitions with resilience and purpose.

Guided by a clear vision, the core mission statements of the team are to:

    • Mission 1: Gear up youth spiritual leaders through discipleship training.
    • Mission 2: Promote Christian values & nurture the spiritual atmosphere.
    • Mission 3: Share the gospel and embrace the Great Commission.

Central to this ecosystem is student-led discipleship and community engagement. Through initiatives like student leadership training, Christian Fellowship, Praise Team, lunchtime Alpha courses, and the Boys’ Brigade, students serve as spiritual ambassadors. Dedicated campus spaces—including Joshua Hall, Solomon Innolab, Gabriel Music Hall, and the Moses Gateway—provide physical sanctuaries for fellowships, worship, and regular Saturday Campus Worship Services.

Through global missionary trips, community service, gospel drama, conferences, inter-school music competitions, and Alpha courses, A-School successfully nurtures well-rounded individuals anchored in faith and unconditional love.
