Life Education Lessons

Our students are at a crucial stage in their lives where they can develop positive characteristics, interpersonal skills, and ethical decision-making abilities. With this in mind, we have integrated the PERCCI Values - Perseverance, Empathy, Respect, Courage, Commitment, and Integrity - into our curriculum. PERCCI, our school mascot, represents these values, which closely align with the principles of the 7 Habits and play a pivotal role in fostering a positive and inclusive school environment. By practicing these values, students learn to make ethical decisions, demonstrate empathy, and show respect for themselves and others. They also develop the ability to take initiative, collaborate with peers, and communicate effectively.

The 7 Habits curriculum, developed by Stephen R. Covey, places a strong emphasis on social and emotional development. It helps students enhance their self-awareness, manage their emotions, and build healthy relationships. By understanding their own strengths and weaknesses and showing empathy towards others, students cultivate positive social skills and develop a strong sense of self-confidence. The 7 Habits equip primary school students with essential life skills that extend beyond the classroom, laying a solid foundation for their future academic and professional success.

The integration of the PERCCI Values and the focus on Social-Emotional Learning seamlessly complement the 7 Habits curriculum, creating a holistic approach to character development and fostering a positive school culture. By combining these elements, we empower our students to become well-rounded individuals who possess the essential qualities and skills needed for success in both their academic and personal lives.
