Support for Non-Chinese Speaking (NCS) Students

The Chinese Language curriculum designed for NCS students emphasizes the cultivation of their listening, speaking, reading and writing skills so as to enhance their learning motivation and improve their Chinese language proficiency. We will also arrange “pull-out” learning groups and
after-school support in accordance with students’ needs.

To let NCS students learn more about Chinese culture, we organize different activities such as
lantern riddles, Fai Chun competition, Chinese Culture Day, and local visits. We also provide diversified exposures covering physical development, aesthetic development, academic development, personal interest, uniform team trainings, community services and local excursions. These activities are open to both Chinese speaking and non-Chinese speaking students, so that they can learn and interact with each other.

In high school, NCS students can apply for the GCE A-level or HKDSE programme, leading to a wider range of possibilities.
