Easter Celebration: Embracing Traditions and Spiritual Reflection

News date

The Easter Celebration, held on 27th March 2024 at our school, provided an opportunity for students, teachers, and the entire school community to come together in a joyous and meaningful event. Some of the highlights included religious messages, game booths, hymn singing, handicraft making, and the Inter-house Easter Challenge. The event not only fostered a sense of unity and fun but also encouraged spiritual reflection and the importance of Easter traditions.

At the core of our Easter Celebration was the religious message of hope, renewal, and redemption. This spiritual component set the tone for the rest of the celebration, reminding students of the true essence of Easter.

To add an element of excitement and entertainment, booths were set up by parent volunteers and City One Baptist Church throughout the atrium and the tuck shop area. These booths, featuring a range of fun-filled activities, games with Christian themes and hymn singing, not only promoted spiritual growth but also served as a way to engage students in a lively and enjoyable atmosphere.

The Inter-house Easter Challenge served as a platform for students to collaborate and work together for their houses. The inclusion of questions related to the Easter story encouraged students to delve deeper into their understanding of the religious significance of Easter.

G4 to G6 students were encouraged to participate in handicraft making where they could create Christian-themed artworks.

This event served as a reminder of the importance of traditions and provided a platform for students to showcase their talents, fostering a sense of belonging and spiritual development.

May the Lord bless you and your family with the richness of grace!
