Robot Soccer Challenge 2019 Season 1

The Lego Robotics of Primary Division participated in the Robot Soccer Challenge 2019 Season 1 and was ranked the 1st runner-up. Four members split into groups of two to compete against other 10 teams. The team of G6 ZHANG Jingchun and G5 LIU Annie returned home with the award for their refined model. Our teams put great effort in designing the football controller, which was powered by a motor with two tyres. To increase stability of controlling, the robot was equipped with a rubber band on top of the motor to give more flexibility to the football. Before the competition, students ran numerous trials in order to be familiar with the remote controller to direct the robot. Throughout the process from production to competition, the students fully applied their knowledge and creativity. Their devotion and conscientious manner deserved our credits.
