The 9th Consecutive Championship at the All Hong Kong Secondary School Softball Competition

The Boys’ Softball Team of Secondary Division successfully crowned the 9th Consecutive Championship at the All Hong Kong Secondary School Softball Competition 2018-19 on December 1.

Facing the tough rivals, like La Salle College, Diocesan Boys School, and lastly, Creative Secondary School in the Final, the softball team maintained a high spirit and won 12:5 in the match. LUI Wang Pok, the team captain finished with 2 homeruns.  His outstanding performance together with his leadership throughout the competition earned him the title of “The Most Valuable Player”. 

Thanks for the enormous support from our wonderful teachers, parents and schoolmates who stood by the team in the bright sunny afternoon. Without the spectacular cheering, the team might not able to come back from the deficit and score 8 runs in the last innings to win the match. All of them did really demonstrate A-School’s spirit of striving for excellence.

Living up to the team motto of "Stay Humble, Hustle Hard", the boys will take this match as a lesson to identify room for further improvement and come back stronger next year.
