Blind Date with a Book 2023

News date

As the famous biblical verse goes, "It is more blessed to give than to receive" (Acts 20:35). We believe in the power of sharing and giving, and that's why the Library and Reading Affairs Team introduced students to the event, Blind Date with a Book 2023, during Gospel Week!

We are thrilled to share that the event was a huge success! The event aimed at promoting the values of book sharing and giving, and to expand our reading community. Junior-grade students were given the opportunity to share their favourite books with their peers. The books were wrapped in paper and adorned with a few words and pictures, adding a sense of mystery and excitement to the event. In total, 99 books were donated and shared, providing students with the opportunity to discover new favourites.

We are incredibly grateful for the overwhelming support and participation we received from our students, teachers, and parents. The joy of reading was celebrated and shared among our entire community, making it an unforgettable experience.

Thank you to everyone who participated in this event and helped promote a love for reading and a strong sense of community. Let's look forward to more events like this in the future!
