China Soong Ching Ling Foundation: "Master Lecture for Children"

We have honourably invited Mr. YE Cong, the chief commander and the chief designer of the Chinese submarine "Striver", as our guest speaker.  More than 170 teachers and students from both primary and secondary divisions joined the lecture on 15 September on campus. Mr. YE shared with us about the leapfrog development of China's manned deep diving in the past 20 years ─ the difficulties encountered, and the ways he solved various difficulties. His great enthusiasm, courage and commitment to the development of deep-sea submarine technologies are the essential leadership qualities that our A-Schoolers should learn from.
