Class of 2027 — The Graduation Run

At HKBUAS, the Graduation Run has become a cherished tradition. Just a few hundred metres, yet it carries twelve years of laughter, growth, friendship, and transformation.

We asked our Grade 12 students what this lap means to them.

Their responses were sincere, thoughtful, and filled with the courage that comes before a farewell:

“After twelve years at this school, we’re about to step out into the world and head towards our own futures. Completing this lap feels like closing the chapter on our secondary school journey but at the same time, it marks a brand‑new beginning.”

Excited? Absolutely. Each student has already found their direction and is ready to spread their wings.

Their futures are coming into focus, some are preparing for the DSE, others for A‑Levels.

Some dream of studying philosophy; others are drawn to technology, engineering or medicine.

Every path holds endless possibilities, and each student will walk the path that truly belongs to them.

Nervous? Perhaps a little,  but even more, they are full of anticipation.

Dear Grade 12 students,

This lap marks a farewell, yet it also signals the beginning of your next journey. May the memories you carry continue to warm your hearts and guide your steps as you move towards a future full of purpose and possibility. Spread your wings with confidence, and soar towards your goals. 🕊️
