Humanities Week - A Green Planet
The theme for this year’s Humanities Week is "A Green Planet " which centers around promoting environmental sustainability and fostering awareness about the significance of preserving our planet. We strongly encourage engaging discussions with the students on a range of topics, including climate change, renewable energy, global green businesses, the consequences of pollution, and more. Our aim is to inspire students to take action for a greener future, recognizing the potential impact of their choices.
There was a wide range of activities organized by our Humanities teachers, for instance, interactive game booths, Green Café, Inter-Chamber Knowledge Quiz Competition and a book display about green living styles. Furthermore, the G7-9 students had a chance to enjoy an interactive drama show conducted by “Theatre in the Dark” to understand more about renewable energy resources in Hong Kong. Meanwhile, the G11 and G12 geography students visited Green @ Kwun Tong and the Zero Carbon building to learn more about the special building designs.
Let's make every effort to educate our students about the importance of going green and adopting a sustainable lifestyle for a better future together.
