Awards Received by Music Teams

Exciting news were brought by the Music Teams of Secondary Division and Middle School.

[Choir]
The Choir of Secondary Division won the Championship in the Vocal Group Secondary Level at the 6th Hong Kong International Music Festival Grandmaster Cup Competition on May 1, 2019.

[Chinese Drum Team]
The Chinese Drum Team of Secondary Division participated in the Hong Kong Joint School Music Association Competition 2019 on May 3, 2019 and got the highest score to bag the Gold Award in the category of Ensemble Team (Chinese Drum).

[Handbell Teams]
The Senior Handbell Team of Secondary Division joined the Hong Kong International Handbell Olympics 2019 on May 15, 2019 and obtained a Gold Award in the category of Advanced Handbells.
The Middle School Handbell Team made their first debut in the inter-school competition at the Hong Kong International Handbell Olympics 2019 on May 16, 2019 and received the Silver Award.

[Middle School Orchestra]
On 16 May, 2019, the Middle School Orchestra took part in inter-school competitions for their first time at the Hong Kong Performing Arts Festival 2019 and earned the Bronze Award in the Secondary Ensemble Section.
Thanks for the teachers’ and instructors’ leadership and guidance to the music teams to achieve such encouraging results. Also, our great appreciation to all the team members for their passion for music and effort to strive for excellence.
