Endangered Species Museum

News date

A-School Endangered Species Museum underwent renovation in the immediate past summer holiday. The newly refurbished Museum now houses 165 exhibits of 29 endangered species, including various kinds of fur skins, leather products, Chinese medicines and plants donated by the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department.

The Museum provides a better place for students to gain a deeper understanding of the endangered species as well as raise their awareness of nature conservation. Furthermore, teachers of different subjects can make use of the Museum for cross-disciplinary education, from bio-diversity, geography, nature conservation to environment protection, etc.

We hope visitors and students will enjoy exploring exhibits in the Museum and help promote the awareness of endangered species protection in society.
