Thanksgiving Week 2020

News date

“Gratitude can transform common days into thanksgivings, turn routine jobs into joy, and change ordinary opportunities into blessings.” - Mr. William Arthur Ward. Research has shown that gratitude helps improve general well-being, increase resilience, strengthen social relationships and reduce stress.

The Thanksgiving Week has become A-School’s tradition to foster a caring school culture and develop students’ sense of appreciation and gratitude. Despite the difficulties we have been facing this year, the Guidance Unit has spread their care and the positive energy through gift booth, peer mentors’ sharing, guidance lessons and the “Shine from me to WE“ thanksgiving cards during the Thanksgiving Week in June.

We are so grateful for the support and encouragement from the PTA for their gift booth. While hundreds of touching thanksgiving cards have been received by our staff, teachers and students, we hope the grateful attitude will spread all over the A-School community.

May God strengthen us and give us the right attitude to the current situation, and also help us endure and grow through the storm.
