<<🧸 PERCCI’s Sweet Imagination — Grade 5 Tang Ho Yeung shines in Sing Tao>>

News date

Organized by the Hong Kong Arts Development Council, the “Arts Ambassadors-in-School Scheme” has appointed over 19,000 students from primary, secondary, and special schools. Our student, 5D Tang Ho Yeung, is among them and was specially featured in Sing Tao Headline. He was selected for his ability to respond to this year’s theme, “Convergence · Arts Imagination”, which encourages students to explore infinite possibilities through cross-media art.

Tang Ho Yeung shared: “In my colourful clay world, I created my favorite little bear ‘PERCCI’—our school mascot. I imagine PERCCI as a lively companion who steps out of everyday life to host a joyful party with me. At the party, there are all my favorite desserts: rainbow lollipops covered in frosting, chocolate donuts sprinkled with colorful sugar, and cream cakes topped with bright red strawberries. Each one looks like it came straight out of a fairy tale, full of sweet surprises.”

He further explained his creative idea: “To make the artwork more dynamic and dreamy, I placed an upside-down transparent glass jar filled with rainbow candies gently on PERCCI’s head. With just a slight movement, the candies seem to fall from the sky, transforming into a shower of cheerful colours. Through this exaggerated and imaginative composition, I hope to invite everyone who views the piece into this sweet little paradise, to feel that pure and simple joy. While creating this clay artwork, I felt the warmth and happiness of molding clay with my hands. I hope PERCCI and his ‘candy cloud’ can also bring everyone good cheer, letting smiles soar in their hearts all day long.”🌈

We are proud to announce that Ho Yeung’s work won Third Place in the “Reimagine” HK Taiwan International Children and Youth Art Competition 2025, showcasing his talent and creativity in cross-media artistic exploration.💫

<<🧸 PERCCI’s Sweet Imagination —
