Hong Kong Projection Mapping Festival

Maybe you find Projection Mapping unfamiliar, but if you have seen the night show in Disneyland, you may have some idea about the magic power of Projection Mapping.

This year, a group of primary students participated in a summer course where they learned the basic concepts of ArtTech and prepared a showcase event in August. They completed research on the topic of “Saving the Vaquita”.

Last Saturday, the Hong Kong Projection Mapping Festival was held in the Cyberport. Ten students from our primary division showcased their research in “Saving the Vaquita.” Together with a projection mapping installation, they promoted the message of saving the ocean. The audience and the judges highly appreciated their performance and their models.

We received three awards for our set design, creativity, and entrepreneurial attitude. We hope to see some projection mapping installations on our school campus soon.
