Universal Robotics Competition

There are many passionate STEAM enthusiasts in A-School. G3 Jadon Wong, Lionel Wong, G2 Jasper Wong and G1 Kwan Raphael formed a team and participated in the Universal Robotics Challenge 2022 Hong Kong (Junior Group). The students, together with their parents and teachers, brainstormed and designed a robot that could enhance road safety which was the topic of the competition this year. The students used their coding knowledge and skills, and through group discussion and cooperation, they created a robot to safeguard pedestrians by reminding drivers of driving safety. Some sensors are built in as well to support the whole design. Although the robots are made of small pieces, the students’ commitment and hard work are tremendous and their efforts are highly appreciated. Their presentation on 23rd July was well-received by the audience. Hope their creative idea of the Road Safety Robot will benefit the city's transport system.
