’Speak Out- Act Up!’ Improvised Drama Competition 2018-19

On March 8, 2019, six Grade 9 students, namely LEUNG Shing Fung Seth, SIN Hei Shu, TAI Lok Tim Timothy, TSANG Hok Hin Hawking, SHER Yan Tai and YEUNG Chin Yee joined the ‘Speak Out - Act Up!’ Improvised Drama Competition organized by the Native-speaking English Teacher (NET) Scheme of the EDB. Competing with strong counterparts, our team was crowned the Champion, and one of the members, Seth, was named the Best Actor with his outstanding performance!

This is the second year in a row that A-School won the Champion in this event and the result is definitely encouraging! Through the training and competition, students learnt to express themselves creatively and think of an entertaining plot for the audience. They also applied their improvisation skills and finished their performance within the given time. It is thrilling that our students' language abilities and talents in drama were highly recognized!
