2019 World Scholar's Cup - Tournament of Champions

Standing out from nearly 50,000 young scholars in cross-curricular academic challenges at 148 regional events in over 75 countries, 12 of our students were qualified to enter the World Scholar’s Cup Finale after succeeding in the Regional Round and Global Round – Beijing.

Five young scholars, namely G8 FU Cheuk Yiu Tiffany, G8 GILBERT Lewis James, G8 FUNG Wai Tak Walter, G9 CHEUNG Prudence and G10 YEUNG Chin Yee, flew to Yale University in USA to compete for the finale Tournament of Champions 2019 from November 8 to 13, 2019. The result was as encouraging as last year’s. The team received medals and obtained top hundred positions in various events including Trophy – Team Writing and Gold and Silver medals of individual events in Writing, Debate, Overall Scholars and Social Studies Challenges.

The World Scholar’s Cup is a worldwide competition that celebrates learning. It aims to motivate students of all backgrounds to discover new strengths and practise new skills, and to inspire a global community of future scholars and leaders.
