National Security Education Activities

To enhance the sense of national identity and to promote national security education, a series of National Security Education programmes was arranged in March and April 2023.

The whole-school flag-raising ceremony and student sharing by the MCD Leaders were arranged on April 4, 2023. On that day in the morning assembly, two videos themed “國家安全與香港：<<香港國安法>>就人權自由的保障” and “我們國家及香港特區的象徵：國旗、國歌和區旗” were shown to enhance the understanding of the National Constitution, National Flag, National Emblem and National Security Law among our students and teachers. After that, our Vice-Principal, Dr. Ruby Cheung delivered a sharing on national security education. 

Besides, in March and April, boards and e-exhibitions on national security education were displayed on the school campus. On April 19, all G7 to G11 students participated in the National Security Education Online Competition. Students were motivated to learn the importance of safeguarding national security and deepen their understanding of the rule of law and the country's conditions through this activity.
