Non-Chinese Speaking Students (Junior-level) Language Workshop

News date

To help non-Chinese speaking (NCS) students better learn Chinese and adapt to local culture, A-School encourages students to participate in different types of off-campus activities. On April 13, 2019, three Grade Seven NCS students attended the Non-Chinese Speaking Students (Junior-level) Language Workshop organized by the Department of Chinese Language and Literature of Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU). The students took a six-hour course at HKBU during which they completed assignments and took part in creative games and class discussions. They were very excited about having the opportunity to take classes at the university, and learn Chinese and its culture with students from other schools. The students enjoyed dim sum for lunch to experience local cuisine together.
