A-School Alumna Shines at the Oscars - Rachel Mow's Film Named Student Academy Awards Finalist

It brings us great joy to announce that one of our talented alumni, Rachel Mow 繆心怡 (Class of 2019), whose short animated film "The Sun is Bad" has been selected as an Oscar finalist out of nearly 2,500 entries worldwide for the prestigious 50th Student Academy Awards! And on top of this incredible honour, her film also won Film of the Year at the Rookie Awards 2023!

Rachel's talent and dedication to her craft are clearly paying off as her animated short film receives widespread acclaim and screens at top international festivals. It's so inspiring to see an A-School graduate gaining recognition from both audiences and industry professionals. Rachel’s exceptional accomplishments are a true testament to her immense creativity and skills; it also reflects the strong foundation she developed during her time at A-School. We're extremely proud to have played a part in nurturing Rachel's passion and abilities.
