Application for Grade 11 GCE A-Level Admission (School Year 2026-2027)
Application Period
We are accepting Grade 11 GCE A-Level admission applications from March 18, 2026 to May 6, 2026 (12:00 noon HKT).
Application Method
Parents are required to complete the application form (available for download via the link below) and submit it, along with all required documents, by email before the deadline. Please note: No application fee is required at this stage. The HK$75 application fee is payable in cash upon attending the written test. Our Admissions Office will send a confirmation email to parents within two weeks of receiving all documents.

- Applicant’s Birth Certificate/Identity Card/other documents of identity
- Applicant’s school reports in the last three years
- Extra-curricular achievements (ECA) including supporting documents or other supplementary information
- Proof of our school alumni or HKBU alumni or current staff (applicable to parents and siblings)

Written Test
The admissions written test comprises several subject papers, all of which will be administered on the same day. Each paper is approximately 60 minutes long. Detailed arrangements for the written test will be sent via email together with the invitation letter.
Offer and Registration
Successful applicants will receive an Offer Letter via email in late June. Parents are required to complete the registration formalities by the specified deadline to secure the place. Registration details will be included in the Offer Letter.
Scholarship / Financial Assistance
Needy students, including those from families receiving Comprehensive Social Security Assistance and those receiving financial assistance provided by the Student Finance Office, could apply and be eligible for school fee remission. Besides, we welcome students who have noteworthy performance in sports, music, performing arts, visual arts, services, leadership or academic excellence to apply for our scholarship. The application forms and details of our Scholarship and Financial Assistance Schemes can be found on our school website (http://www.hkbuas.edu.hk). Hard copies of application forms and related information are also available at our school office. If you would like to apply for your child, please submit the application form and other related documents on the day of registration.

The school-based English curriculum in Grade 11 prepares students for their IGCSE (English) and IELTS examination. In Grade 12, more focus is placed on academic writing and university preparation with students crafting personal statements and honing interview skills for university admission.

- All the information submitted in the Application Form and other attachments will be used only for the admissions purposes. All admission data of unsuccessful applicants will be destroyed after the admission process is completed.
