Election of Alumni Manager
The School Management Committee approved the election of one Alumni Manager with the term of office of two years. He / She will represent alumni to become a member of the School Management Committee of A-School. All members of the Alumni Association and are aged eighteen or above on the date of nomination are eligible to be the candidates / proposers / seconders / voters in the Election.
Nomination period starts today till December 12, 2022. The following documents will be sent to all alumni via email:
- Guidelines and Regulations for the Election of the Alumni Manager
- Schedule for the Election of Alumni Manager
- Duties of the School Management Committee and the Alumni Manager
- Nomination Form
- Brief Introductory Statement of Candidate of Alumni Manager
Interested alumni please complete the nomination form together with the introductory statement and put them into the Election Box located at the Main Office of A-School, G/F of Secondary Division, before 5:00pm on Monday, December 12, 2022.
The results on the nomination will be announced on Tuesday, December 13, 2022. Polling will be launched starting 10:00am on Monday, December 19, 2022 until 4:00pm on Wednesday, January 4, 2023. All members of the Alumni Association could be the voters. They should come back to the Main Office of A-School to get one ballot paper by presenting their HKID card for checking. After casting a vote, the ballot paper should be put into the ballot box at the Main Office at once. The polling time is as follows:
Monday – Friday: 9:00am – 5:00pm
Saturday: 9:00am – 12:00noon
Closed on Sundays and Public Holidays
After the polling ends at 4:00pm on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, counting of votes will start at once. The results will be announced on the School Website and through email to all alumni.
Unsuccessful candidate(s) could appeal to the School Supervisor in writing together with reasons within 3 days of the announcement. Afterwards, the results of the election will be submitted to the School Management Committee for confirmation.
