EDB Exhibition of Student Visual Arts Work 2021/22

To strengthen students' ability on art appreciation, Visual Arts team members visited the “Exhibition of Student Visual Arts Work 2021/22” at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre, which is organized by the Arts Education Section of the Curriculum Development Institute, Education Bureau. The exhibition is a territory-wide annual art event for the school sector. It aims to display and acknowledge primary and secondary students’ accomplishments in Visual Arts, and enable students and teachers to learn from each other.

Congratulations to Grade 4 Ho Wan Ching and Lam Tsz Ching, their artworks were selected for exhibit out of 1100 entries. Ho Wan Ching’s artwork “Protect our Endangered Deer” is awarded “Certificate of Merit”.

The exhibition showcased artworks made with a wide range of media, from traditional painting to 3-D sculptures, and even works of augmented reality (AR). Students had a blast exploring and appreciating works in different mediums. The exhibition can stimulate students’ creativity and inspiration on how and what to use to create their own masterpiece.
