Prefect Team Training Camp

The A-School Prefect team consists of student leaders who are selected to serve as role models and representatives of the students. They strive to promote a positive school culture, maintain discipline, and support the well-being of their fellow students. By fulfilling their duties with integrity, they contribute to the smooth running of the school. Their regular training program includes activities such as role-playing, video making, and idea sharing. These activities effectively enhance the prefects' communication and public speaking skills, as they are assigned different scenarios that require them to demonstrate effective leadership, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills.

In early January, we organized a two-day, one-night camp for the prefects at Wu Kwai Sha Youth Village. This camping experience provided a valuable opportunity for the prefects to develop teamwork, resilience, and leadership skills. Throughout the camp, they engaged in various team-building activities and faced challenges designed to foster these skills. For example, the prefects were required to wear blindfolds and navigate through darkness, searching for a way out to reach the destination. Through those activities, they learnt to communicate effectively, solve problems collaboratively, and support one another. This empowered the prefects with the courage to face a wide range of challenges in the future.
