The 4th Hong Kong Schools Debating Competition — 2nd Preliminary Round

Our school's Chinese Debating Team has just defeated True Light Middle School of Hong Kong in the 2nd preliminary round of the 4th Hong Kong Schools Debating Competition (全港中學學界辯論比賽) on 18 February 2023, with a unanimous score of 3 to 0.

10D YEUNG Yat Fung Nathan has been awarded the Best Debater. Our team Captain, 10D LEUNG Yeuk Hei, and dedicated debaters including 10D YEUNG Yat Fung, 10C CHOI Tsz Wan and 10E KWOK Yat Kiu, have led 8C KAM Anson Tsz Yin, 7C CHEUK Ka Him Torres and other teammates to put on an impressive performance.

Our debaters became stronger and more resilient in their battles against prominent opponents. We are now qualified for the 3rd preliminary round to be held in March 2023, where we will face La Salle College. The best-case scenario is that our team will advance to the quarter-finals if we defeat them. Stay tuned for more good news and let's show them our support!
