The Baccalaureate Service

News date

The Baccalaureate Service, a cherished tradition among G12 students at A-school, was successfully held on 1st March 2024 in Joshua Hall.  This event served as a heartfelt expression of gratitude towards the school, where students were nurtured and teachers imparted their valuable knowledge throughout the years.

The service also aimed to commemorate the precious moments of school life and express gratitude to God.  It featured sincere warm sharing from G12 students that resonated with many participants and uplifting worship led by the praise team under the instruction of Mr. Ivan Wong from City One Baptist Church.  Furthermore, Pastor Rex Lam and two G12 teachers, Mr. Ken Li and Ms. Katherine Ho, provided words of encouragement by delivering Bible messages and sharing their personal experiences with an aim to strengthen our G12 students. The messages were thought to be very inspiring and touching.

In addition, a memento had been prepared for our G12 students.  Fountain pens engraved with a meaningful Bible scripture, "The Lord stood by me and gave me strength" (2 Timothy 4:17), were given to them.  Through this symbolic gift, the school conveys a profound blessing and extends its warmest support to the graduating students.  It serves as a reminder of the unwavering presence and empowerment that they can rely on as they embark on their future journeys.

Filled with gratitude, worship and meaningful reflection, the Baccalaureate Service was indeed a memorable and impactful experience for all attendees.  May God richly bless them all.
